TOM PETERSON ARCHITECT

As a Colorado native, Tom's heart has always been in the Rocky Mountains. Tom first gained interest in architecture back in high school, enjoying both technical drawing and art classes. His education continued as he gained practical experience working for architectural and engineering firms while acquiring his Bachelor of Environmental Design in Boulder. His years there introduced Tom to the ideology of sustainable design, which remains a fundamental guide as he strives for practical approaches to new materials and ideas in design. Tom continued his architectural pursuit and in 1998 became a licensed architect. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a wide variety of architectural projects; from high-end custom homes to commercial, mixed-use and resort developments.

When not in the office, Tom enjoys many of the outdoor recreations available in the Rocky Mountains. You might find him on his bike, skis, snowboard or on a tennis court or disc golf course. If he's not there, check the couch if the Avalanche are playing.
