The Falcon Condominium in Breckenridge was tired and wheathered. A new roofline, windows/doors, deck railings and paint job has transformed "The Falcon" into the hip place to live in Breckenridge.

Architects living in the high alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and especially fragile places like Breckenridge, Colorado, should be concerned with preserving our natural and cultural environment. Though Breckenridge architects have been around scarcely 30 years, it's architecture has been around almost 150 years. We are intrigued by these older forms and materials indigenous to Summit County and the Rocky Mountains. Log cabins, mining structures and the Breckenridge architect's favorite, the A-frame are some of the places where we find our inspiration. Designing this way allows us to design contemporary homes that exceed client expectations and fit with the built landscape in Breckenridge.
